Cape Town is unlike any other city I have visited: Separated from the rest of the country by a ring of mountains, the city stands as a vibrant and historical city with one of the world’s most breathtaking natural landscape. You also fall in love with Cape Town for its jetset beaches, outdoor activities and colourful neighbourhoods, and not to forget - the famous Table Mountain.
We spent three days in this lovely city and I enjoyed every second of it. Therefore I want to share my top experiences which includes spectacular viewpoints, the best beaches, african cuisine and wildlife sighting. Cape Town is definitely a city with variation and many things to explore!
We rented an apartment in Green Point, which was a great starting point for all main attractions of the city. Green Point is situated by Waterfront and is a safe area. To be added is that I never felt unsafe anywhere on our trip in South Africa, although as in any other city you should be watchful, especially at night. For full freedom we also rented a car which made our stay spontaneous, which is something I enjoy as I tend to change plans depending on whether and the sites I visit.
In our three days in Cape Town we got to experience a lot of fantastic things, as well as having time to relax and enjoy our vacation. For our 3-day itinerary in Cape Town, click here. Due to only having three days there were a couple of things I wasn’t able to do, which means I have to come back soon! When I return I will be looking forward to explore Kirstenbosch Gardens, Woodstock, Robben Island, visit a Township and dive with sharks. Now to:
