This is how I spent my two week's vacation in Hawaii. It was a great combination of relaxation, exploring and adventure. If I would do it again, I would have liked to spend more time on Kauai as I'm a nature and outdoorsy person. Other than that it was a perfect itinerary.

Day 1 (Oahu) -
 Exploring Waikiki and the beach.

Day 2 (Oahu) -Hiked Diamond Head and relaxed on Waikiki Beach.

Day 3 (Oahu) - Rented a car and drove around the island. Drove north and stopped at a Coffee Plantation, Dole Plantation, the town of Haliwea, Laniakea Beach to spot turtles, Botanical Garden and Waimea Falls, Waimea Bay and dinner at Sharks Cove.

Day 4 (Oahu) - Drove northeast and checked out Pali Lookout, visited the town of Kailua and Kailua Beach. Rented kayak and paddled to Lanikai Beach. Drove further north along the coast and watched the sunset from Sunset Beach before heading south again.

Day 5 (Oahu) - Hauanama Bay and hiked Koko Head Trail.

Day 6 (Oahu) - Took surfing lessons for two hours and then relaxed on Waikiki Beach.

Day 7 (Kauai) - Flight to Kauai. Rented a car and drove to Princeville. Checked out the town of Hanalei. Relaxed on the beach of Hanalei Bay. Drove to the end of the road (as far north you can get). Checked out the wet and dry caves along the road and watched the sunset from Haena Beach.

Day 8 (Kauai) - Waimea Canyon. Hikes Waipoo Falls Trail. Ended the day at Poipo Beach.

Day 9 (Kauai) - Hiked the Kalalau Trail, Na Pali Coast.

Day 10 (Kauai) - Small road trip to Waimea Falls. The afternoon was spent at Hideaway Beach.

Day 11 (Kauai) - Boat tour along Na Pali Coast. Spent the afternoon at Hideaway beach. Flight back to Oahu.

Day 12 (Oahu) - Pearl Harbour. Spent the afternoon at Waikiki Beach and did some shopping.

Day 13 (Oahu) - Ate our favourite breakfast at Bogart’s and did some final shopping. Relaxed on the beach before heading to the Airport to fly back home.
